The Dunlop Aerogel 4D Max Squash Racket is the ideal racket choice for either the intermediate or advanced player looking for a frame which provides pure power delivered through a teardrop head shape and long main strings.
The 4D braiding integrated into the racket ensures total control and stability of racket power delivery.
4D Braided Technology
4D stands for 4-directional braiding and has been introduced to enhance racket stability and control. 4D braided material is constructed using four braided fibres of super-light composite fibres wrapped in an alloy sheath.
The fibres are aligned at 0, 90, 22 and -22 degree orientations which enables stresses to be supported in multiple directions whereas standard carbon sheets are only orientated in a single direction. This means that one layer of 4D braided material has the equivalent properties to four layers of standard carbon positioned at different orientations making it 4 times more effective without increasing the overall weight of the racket.
4D braided material has incorporated into the racket lay-up at the following key locations:
5 o’clock and 7 o’clock: the multi directional properties of the 4D braided cloth help stabilise torsional twist making the racket more stable enhancing control.
3 o’clock and 9 o’clock: 4D braided cloth provides torsional stability and, as a result of only one layer being used instead of several, this material also provides superb racket response at ball contact 4D braided technology complements the raw power of Aerogel to create the perfect blend between control and power.
Dunlop Aerogel rackets incorporate the world’s lightest solid, which has a strength of up to 4,000 times its own weight. The three-dimensional nanometer-sized molecular network delivers an unmatched strength to weight ration for enhanced stiffness and increased power.
Dunlop Aerogel and 4D braided technology creates the perfect blend between power and stability.
